Joshua Smith of St. Petersburg FL started swimming and competing as an AAU and USA swimmer from at the age of 7. He was a nationally ranked 100 yard backstroke are at the age of 14. His talents carried him well into collegiate sports where he was on the sailing team at the University of Pennsylvania. To this day Josh continues to compete as a swimmer for the Saint Pete Masters swim team.
